Getting There - Flights & Airports:
Access to Conil is excellent with a choice of 5 airports:
- Jerez is the nearest and is served by Ryanair; Thompson Flights also run a service from Gatwick. Jerez is approximately 50 minutes away by car.
- Gibraltar is 1½ to 2 hours away, allowing for variable border crossing time into Spain at peak times. British Airways/GB Airways and Monarch are the main carriers.
- Seville is 1½ to 2 hours (direct motorway connection to Jerez). British and Iberian Airways are the main carriers.
- Malaga is approximately 2½ to 3 hours away via the new motorway from Algeciras (next to Gibraltar).
- Faro in Portugal is also approximately 3 to 3½ hours away with service from Easy-Jet and others and motorway direct to Seville. Hire cars can be taken into Spain but must be returned to Portugal.
Transfers:
From the Airport you'll need to arrange a taxi or hire a car to get to Conil. We recommend you hire a car as to really see 'Luz' you'll want the freedom of your own transport. Transfer times vary depending on your arrival airport (see panel). Buses serve most major centres eg.Cadiz.

Real Time Weather Check from Lycos This area is a pleasure to visit anytime of year and enjoys virtually year-round sunshine (3200 hrs annually) with average summer temperatures in the high 20's - early 30's but still has enough rain to make the country-side green and lush.
December/January are generally sunny but brisk (avg' 15 degrees) and so you may need some warmer clothing.
